Hello from the passenger seat
We're Nora & Ben Whitaker. A few years ago we sold most of what we owned, bought a modest travel trailer and started driving. This journal is where we keep track of the roads, the campgrounds, the rigs we've toured and the small lessons of slow travel.
We also write up models and buying questions we've researched for ourselves and for friends who ask. We're not mechanics or dealers — just curious, careful travelers.
Why "wheelbase"?
Because the distance between your axles changes everything about how a rig handles a winding road. Life's a bit like that too.
